Difficulty levels of our tours
Suitable for beginners with a basic level of fitness and no previous experience required. The terrain is gentle, the pace is relaxed, and the tour requires little physical effort.
A manageable adventure requiring a reasonable level of fitness. Expect longer distances, uneven terrain, or changing weather conditions.
Requires good fitness and the ability to handle several hours of continuous activity. The terrain may be more demanding, with steeper sections, deeper snow, or uphill trekking.
Designed for physically fit participants who are comfortable in demanding conditions. Expect significant elevation gain, challenging terrain, longer distances, and sustained physical effort.
The most demanding level, intended for experienced and very fit participants. Expect strenuous terrain, challenging weather or snow conditions, significant elevation gain, and a high level of physical and mental endurance.

Kreekness Huskies & Hikes Expedition badge is earned on tours longer than 4 days.
Terms & Conditions of Kreekness Huskies & Hikes tours
1. Booking & Payment
A booking is confirmed once the required payment or deposit has been received. Full payment must be completed according to the booking terms provided at the time of reservation. For tours longer than 2 days the full payment must be completed 14 days before the first day of the tour. For tours up to 2 days the full payment must be completed before the start of the tour.
Booking is only confirmed by getting the confirmation by tour provider.
2. Participant Requirements
Participants must provide accurate information about their fitness level, previous experience, relevant medical considerations, and any other information that may affect their ability to safely participate. If in doubt about their suitability to participate, participants are required to contact the tour provider for further information before booking or taking part in the tour. The guide reserves the right to refuse participation if a person is considered unfit or inadequately equipped for the chosen activity. Participants who are refused permission to start or continue the tour by the guide will not be entitled to a refund.
3. Weather & Safety
All tours are dependent on weather, snow, trail, and safety conditions. The guide may modify, shorten, postpone, or cancel a tour when conditions are considered unsafe; the guide’s safety decision is final.
If a tour is cancelled before the scheduled start due to unsafe weather or other safety-related conditions, all participants will receive a full refund of the amount paid.
If an ongoing tour is modified, shortened, or otherwise altered due to weather conditions or safety concerns, participants will not be entitled to a refund.
*For example, reaching higher mountain summits is never guaranteed due to changing weather and safety conditions. If summit conditions are unsuitable, the tour can continue at lower elevations or on an alternative route.
4. Equipment & Clothing
Participants are responsible for arriving with the required clothing and personal equipment specified before the tour. The guide may refuse participation if inadequate clothing or equipment creates a safety risk.
5. Difficulty Levels
Participants are responsible for choosing a tour appropriate to their physical fitness, experience, and abilities. Difficulty ratings are intended as general guidance and do not guarantee that a tour will feel equally difficult for every participant.
6. Guide Instructions
Participants must follow the instructions of the guide throughout the tour. Failure to follow safety instructions or behaviour that puts the participant, guide, other guests, or animals at risk may result in the tour being terminated without refund.
7. Dogs & Animal Welfare
During tours with the dogs, participants must follow all instructions regarding interaction with the dogs. Animal welfare and safety always take priority, and the planned activity may be adjusted when necessary for the wellbeing of the dogs. Any mistreatment of a dog will result in an immediate ban from the tour, with no refund.
8. Cancellations & Changes
Cancellation and refund conditions are provided at the time of booking. If a tour is cancelled by the operator due to unsafe conditions, participants will be offered a suitable alternative date or other remedy according to the applicable booking terms.
9. Personal Responsibility
Outdoor activities involve inherent risks, including falls, cold exposure, changing weather, uneven terrain, snow conditions, and other hazards. By participating, guests acknowledge these risks and agree to act responsibly and within their own abilities.
10. Photography & Media
Unless otherwise stated, the operator may take photographs or video during tours for marketing and promotional purposes.
Participants may request not to be included in promotional material. This has to be clearly communicated to the tour guide before the start of the tour.
11. Liability
The operator takes reasonable measures to provide tours safely but cannot eliminate all risks inherent in outdoor and winter activities. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
12. Acceptance
By completing a booking and participating in a tour, the participant confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
All tours and activities offered under the “Kreekness Huskies & Hikes” brand are operated by Wildland Trail AB, the legal owner and official trademark holder of the “Kreekness Huskies & Hikes” trademark. Wildland Trail AB is responsible for the organisation and operation of the tours and activities provided under this brand.
